  • Arch 302 öÄŸrencilerinin dikkatine; model ölçeÄŸiniz 1/200 olarak deÄŸiÅŸtirilmiÅŸtir.

 

  • Tüm studyo öÄŸrencilerimizin dikkatine; 26 Mayıs PerÅŸembe günü Arch 201 ve 202 öÄŸrencilerinin, 27 Mayıs Cuma günü ise Arch 301 ve 302 öÄŸrencilerinin jurileri olacaktır. Tüm öÄŸrencilerimizi juriyi izlemeleri için bekliyoruz.

Warm-up Project: A Space without a Place

Can a space exist anywhere, anytime for anyone and for anything?

You are expected to design a portable structure which can be transported in a single 40’ high-cube intermodal container.

This structure is required to:

  • Offer an enclosed space of at least 18 m2
  • Offer a semi-enclosed space of at least 9 m2
  • Be multifunctional. (House, office, workshop, storage, recreation, etc.)
  • Be mountable without heavy machinery.
  • Be mountable within 8 hours.
  • Be suitable for every climatic condition.
  • Require no permanent foundation.
  • Include wet spaces such as a kitchenette and wc (can be transported with a second 40’ high-cube intermodal container).
  • Provide its’ own power. (Solar, electric, fossil-fuel, wind, etc.)
  • Provide a solution for waste discharge.

You are free and encouraged to use every building material available to you. (metal, timber, fabric, compacted paper, plastics, glass, etc.)

Evaluation
 

The grade of this project will count as 15% of your final grade.
